ACG Overview
Mission
The University of Maine System Advanced Computing Group (ACG) provides computing resources and support for researchers throughout the University of Maine System. The ACG has been in operation with that name since 2012. Some of the current ACG staff have been helping UMS researchers as far back as 2000. HPC, Cloud, and Storage systems are housed in the primary UMS Data Center on the Orono campus with backup storage in the Data Center on the Portland campus. The ACG consists of six staff members, with the Director reporting to the UMS CIO.
